RE:         PA House Bill 699 Has Unanimously Passed

PA House Bill 699 has unanimously passed the House Veterans Affairs & Emergency Preparedness Committee and is now on the table for House consideration. This bill proposes to increase Pennsylvania Medicaid reimbursement rates to $180 for BLS and $300 for ALS, while keeping loaded mileage the same. For reference, the current rates are $120 for BLS, $200 for ALS, and $2 per mile after the first 20 miles. We encourage you to reach out to your PA House Representatives regarding this bill and thank the Ambulance Association of Pennsylvania for their work to keep this issue moving forward.
